Fence posts are set 7 ft. part, 28 inches in the ground with 60 pounds of concrete per post. Also, gate posts are
set 36 inches deep with 120-80 pounds of concrete per post. -
Gates are set with 6x6x10 posts for double gates of 4x6x10 posts for single gates. All feature welded galvanized
steel frames, have heavy duty lockable latches, are hinged with 3 heavy duty ornamental hinges per side to preventsagging, and are attached with 4' lag bolts in post.

Three 2x4x14 foot stringers are used between posts for added strength and to keep fence boards from bowing, and
are attached with three 1/2 inch galvanized screw shank nails.

All cypress fence boards we use are 5/8 inches thick (unless otherwise requested), are installed as close as possible for maximum privacy, and are attached with galvanized ring shank nails.

Wood has always been a standard for decks, but synthetics made of recycled materials are gaining popularity. Here are some interesting facts about both.
WOOD Lumber varies by color, hardness and weight. The most popular and cost-effective variety is pressure-treated southern yellow pine, which is injected with a chemical preservative.
Western red cedar, redwood, Ipe (Brazilian hardwood), and mahogany also are popular choices.
SYNTHETICS Less Maintenance is required with synthetic deck materials, but achieving a natural look can be a challenge. Shop
around and compare samples to strike the right balance. Synthetic decks usually are made of wood and recycled plastic composites, 100% plastic, vinyl, aluminum, or laminated vinyl
membrane.
